Our client is a growing machine learning based business, who have developed an innovative AI platform that is revolutionising the industry that they work in. They are constantly improving and adding features, to ensure consistent product expansion.
Due to growth, they are currently recruiting for a Technical Operations Manager to run their specialist infrastructure team. This team work on both reactive support (investigating and resolving tickets etc) as well as on a proactive basis, such as investigating how to deploy in certain situations, how to scale etc. The team is currently 4, although you will be looking to grow this to meet growing business need.
In this role, you will be provided with full management responsibility, supporting and mentoring your team and undertaking appraisals, career development plans etc.
This client is a based in a Linux environment, and so you will need to have a key understanding of the principles of Linux so be able to understand the basics of what your team does.
- Will have ideally managed a technical support team or be looking to grow your career in this way.
- Will be comfortable undertaking all elements of leadership (appraisals, reviews, motivation of colleagues etc)
- Will be proactive in picking up and driving forward new projects.
- Comfortable in communicating with other areas of the business.
