Strategic Account Manager

I am recruiting for a Strategic Account Manager for a scientific software company who are based in a beautiful offices and a stunning location. The company has a machine learning based platform that focuses on the Life Sciences industry. They have ambitious growth plans for this year and are looking to go to the next level .
The sales element of this role is predominantly a 60/40 split between account management and new business into pharmaceutical companies. They are looking for someone who has a proven track record of identifying decision makers and making business happen. Due to the high nature of account management being through licences and plug ins, it is integral that this person can expand across clients, and built in depth and long lasting relationships.
You will be responsible for:
-Driving EMEA focussed Business Development
-Focus on sales growth and penetration including sales principals
-Directly managing existing clients, renewals and their relationships
-Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
-Key success requirements for this position will be to develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the company products and be able to align this to client needs.
- Ideally you would have proven experience in and understanding of the Life Sciences / Bioinformatics.
-Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technologies/environments/vendors commonly used in the informatics industry.
