Software Developer - Glasgow - Cutting Edge Service Provider -

£25, 000 - £55,000 + Benefits (DOE)

A Software Developer vacancy has arisen for a major energy services provider based in  Glasgow who specialise in real-time customer information applications.  The organisation is going through an exciting period of growth and are currently expanding their development team- looking for strong C# developers.

Dueto growth, there are currently multiple vacancies at different levels across both junior, mid and senior. In the senior role, you will have the opportunity to mentor and influence more junior members of the team.

As the Software Developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal software applications and services.  Working within a team of Developers, Product Owners and QA Engineers to develop bespoke solutions to support core business processes. 

As a Software Developer, you are required to design, code, test, correct and document moderately complex programs and scripts based on agreed requirements.  The software produced should be engineered to a high standard of quality and maintainability using agreed standards and tools.

Essential Requirements:
-Good working knowledge of the C# programming language, Java is also desirable, but not essential
-Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles
-Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
-Ability to write clean, readable and easily maintainable code
-Unit testing methodologies and automated testing platforms
-Proficient understanding of version control using Git
-Working in an Agile development environment
-Working with complex database schemas using SQL
