DP Connect is currently working with an exciting software start-up in Cambridge who have doubled the size of their team over the last nine months. Despite this fast growth, they remain incredibly profitable and are fully self-funded.
As a result of their success over the last couple of years they have won a number of large clients, which is why they are now looking for a new Sales Account Executive to come on board to help account manage these relationships. This position will be as part of a team of six Account Managers, reporting into the VP of Sales.
The key purpose of the role is to manage the relationship with a number of high profile accounts (most of which are household names), and ensure that they are happy with the performance of the product and maintain a strong renewal rate. The Sales Account Executive will then be targeted to further grow the company revenue by exploring opportunities to service new areas within existing clients through effective networking. There will also be a requirement to convert new clients, by actioning inbound leads which are passed across from the pre-sales team.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have some previous sales or account management experience. Whilst this experience does not have to be within the technology sector, you need to be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and sell highly technical concepts. You will also need to be a confident communicator with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, all of which will be tested through the interview process.

The role is busy and demanding as there are a high volume of inbound leads to be actioned; however it is very rewarding as these leads have a high conversion rate due to the strength of the product offering.
