Our client is an internet and networking specialist based here in Cambridge. Together we are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to lead a team of second line network support experts. Founded over a decade ago and consistently growing ever since, our client has supported companies all across the UK for their interconnectivity requirements, providing tailored solutions for clients across a wide variety of sectors.
This is a versatile position for someone with a few years' experience looking to step forward into a lead position with a sensible divide between hands on network support and line management, supporting the growth of the team and the development of the individuals within it.
In this role you will be providing support to an expert standard, demonstrating a clear knowledge of networking, hosting and telephony. You should take pride in your work and accept ownership of your client's experience, dealing with them as a representative of the company as well as the Support Lead. It may also be required that you provide on-site support to clients in the UK from time to time.
