Salary of a Recruitment Consultant:

£25,000-30,000 basic (flexible dependent on experience/ability)

Location: Greater London - Bromley


About DP Connect:

DP Connect have successfully worked at the forefront of the IT Recruitment sector in the UK for nearly 30 years. Building upon this success, DP Connect are now looking to expand their business across four key specialist markets: Data, Cyber Security, eCommerce and Payments / Fintech.



  • Annual gross salary from £25k-£30k

  • 25 days of annual leave (2 of these are taken over the Christmas period)

  • Initial guidance, hands on training and one-to-one ‘best practice’ training to understand the market

  • Review after 6 months


Role of a Recruitment Consultant:

As part of our planned expansion, we are actively looking for Consultants with a proven track record in recruitment to come on board and grow a specialist division through lots of new business development.


This is a great opportunity to take full ownership of a new specialist division within a successful and long-standing business. You will have full responsibility for making this market your own within the company, and eventually growing a team of Junior Consultants into specialists in a senior role.


Requirements for a Recruitment Consultant:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working within a recruitment environment

  • Proven track record of winning new clients and developing new business

  • An entrepreneurial spirit

  • Excellent commercial acumen to spot and create business opportunities



  • For the first 3 months you will only have soft targets around your candidate and manager calls as we don’t expect you to come in and fly straight away (obviously if you do, all the better!)

  • After 3 months, dependent on your progress and how the market is, your targets will be set.

  • As you must know, it would be unfair to set your future targets now, as these markets are relatively new to us is and we want to give you the best opportunity to do well.


Commission Structure (no threshold):

£0 - £2,500 = 10%

£2,501 - £7,500 = 15%

£7,501 - £10,000 = 17.5%

£10,001 - £20,000 = 20%

£20,001 and above = 25%
