Our client, a financial services provider is looking to recruit a
Finance Systems Analyst to work within IT as part of the Business Support team.
The role requires applying financial and accounting knowledge to review system changes and incidents related to financial functions and process, investigate queries raised by business users, and produce and execute tests to validate functions.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Assist with analysis, design, development and testing of new systems
-Work with business analysts and developers to ensure correct documentation & test conditions
-Advise on how to correct posting errors
-Provide day-to-day support to business users by resolving queries, investigating potential production incident issues and raising them as appropriate with the required software provider.
-Act as the key contact for Finance-related policy system queries relating to savings and investments
-Build working relationships with key stakeholders across the business
To succeed, you will need:
-A finance qualification or equivalent experience
-3+ years in a finance-based role; Accountancy or book-keeping
-ISTQB software testing certification or equivalent experience
-Desirable but training will be offered
-Basic understanding of databases and structures - SQL would be an advantage
