Toni launched DP Connect in 1990 on the back of a successful sales career that included 8 years as a specialist IT recruiter in the City. Her vision was to establish a different type of recruitment firm, harnessing her passion for the industry and commitment to the highest levels of customer service.

She remains actively involved in the business, working closely with clients and with our recruiters to ensure that the business continues to develop innovative solutions in a highly competitive market. Her unique approach has led to DP Connect being recognised with numerous awards for excellence and securing prestigious clients and significant outsourcing deals within FTSE 100 firms.

As Chair of the REC’s specialist IT Division during the introduction of the Conduct Regulations 2003, she played an important role in making the voice of IT recruiters heard in order to shape the regulations. Toni was also a member of ATSCo’s Executive Committee for a period of time, sharing her recruitment knowledge and business expertise. She has also instigated campaigns with schools and universities to promote IT careers and been involved in high profile Government initiatives to secure a flexible UK workforce.

Her personal achievements have been recognised by various award programmes including Veuve Clicquot’s Business Woman of the Year, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Recruiter magazine, the Recruitment & Employment Confederation and Recruiter magazine.

Jan started her career as a Management Trainee with Lloyds Bank, subsequently worked for a number of large, global organisations including Canadian Pacific and entered the recruitment industry in 1985.

Initially an advertising campaign recruitment manager in the IT sector, she developed skills in both permanent and contract IT recruitment, managed recruitment solutions and Account Management before progressing to Head of Department and Directorship roles. She spent a significant period of time working on client sites in an advisory capacity in order to produce appropriate staffing strategies, identify recruitment and training needs and actively participate in the interviewing and selection of new IT hires, to senior management level.

At DP Connect since 1997, Jan is currently involved both hands-on and in a strategic capacity with a number of PSL accounts and utilises her wealth of recruitment and commercial experience across the business, to include bids and tenders, compliance and public relations.

Aidan initially joined DP Connect as a non executive director but took up an executive role in August 2011 to assist in accelerating the growth of the business as it enters its third decade of success.

In a 20 year career Aidan has held senior roles within a number of the UKs major recruiters. After 5 years as MD of MSB International prior to its successful sale to Networkers International, he became MD of the European technology brands within the Spring Group which included Spring Technology, Best, and Glotel. After Spring’s successful sale to the Adecco group, Aidan was given additional responsibility for the Computer People brand becoming MD of the largest technology recruiter in the UK with a turnover in excess of £400 million across 12 locations with 400 consultants.

By using the latest technology and recruitment tools his aim is to continuously improve DP Connect’s systems and processes and its offerings to clients and contractors. Previously IT Manager at Vizual Business Tools, a leading supplier of HR systems before joining DP Connect, he has developed on our behalf employer-specific time recording portals and additional reporting facilities that enable our HR and Line Manager clients to better manage budgets, resource planning and recruitment/selection activity. Efficiency and compliance are key to our business, and Steven therefore plays a vital role in supporting our continued success in a highly competitive and regulated industry.

Thaya has joined DP Connect in 2010, prior to this; she has worked for a number of large organisations including Power Plate International Ltd, where she was working as the Group FC managing both the UK and International divisions.

Thaya recognises and embraces the importance of paying our contractors on time every time and she goes out of her way to assist contractors and clients, and indeed the recruitment team at DP Connect, with a variety of complex accounting and contractual queries. Her flexible, commercial and common sense approach have been recognised by our customers.
