My client are a very large and successful organisation within Finance and Payments therefor meaning it is vital that the correct applicant has a background working within Payments, Banking or Finance organisations.

This organisation are looking for an experienced Application Support Manager to lead a team of developers. The right person will be involved in hands-on resolutions of the most complex support issues and will also run the work stack of the team.

Skills and Experience required:
- Experience with Unix, Oracle, Oracle Forms
- Comprehensive knowledge of Payment industry interfaces
- Experience of managing a team of Application Support Analysts
- Able to handle significant incidents in time critical situations
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability ro work well independantly or as part of a team
- Ability and desire to learn new systems and technologies and promote this across the team
- Ability to review quality by carrying out post implementation checks
- Actively mentors and coaches team members
