Business Systems Engineer

Job Description

Contract DV Cleared System Engineer - Business Analysis - 6 Months - Feltham - DV Clearance a Must

My client System Engineering team is responsible for defining, clarifying documenting and adjusting the delivery baseline. Due to the volume of work forecast, assistance is needed for a period of time to ensure that the SE team continues to deliver clarity to the programme regarding the requirements and deliverables in a timely way.
Mandatory requirements

¿ must have prior technical experience working within the delivery team of a large delivery programme, ideally within the Public Sector
¿ must have prior technical experience working within a highly classified environment and the security process, procedures and controls used within these environments
¿ must be able to act proactively and independently in order to determine solutions and solve problems
¿ must have experience of designing & developing large, complex heterogenous IT systems across both infrastructure and applications domains
Outline of tasks
¿ As part of the SE Team the candidate shall:
¿ Become familiar with the nature, requirements and deliverables of the programme
¿ Become familiar with the Engineering process and documentation set of the programme Work in partnership with colleagues from other delivery units to solve problems & identify solutions
¿ Resolve deviations from the expected deliverables identified as part of the testing process, both formal and informal
¿ Raise change requests where necessary and take solutions through engineering and commercial change processes to approval
¿ Requirements elicitation and decomposition with the customer and the wider (including Partner) teams
¿ Use Case capture and validation
¿ Defining requirement compliance and acceptance criteria prior to system and component sign off
¿ Maintaining requirements traceability
¿ Systems level detailed design
¿ Researching and resolving system design issues
¿ interpret
