SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER - HYPERV

Remuneration: £50,000 - 58,000 + bonus + bens
Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Virtualisation Infrastructure Engineer with HyperV required by my client, a highly respected and successful broker based in Central London with significant experience with virtualisation technologies (Hyper V preferable, though VMWare also considered) and administration, configuration and support of Windows Server & Active Directory and Cisco technologies. This role is a new position due to expansion of the IT department. There are many projects in the pipeline such as technology refresh etc. as well as stimulating BAU work. You will be liaising with board members and VIPs and it is therefore important you can communicate at all levels and have the gravitas and self-presentation to communicate and move at the highest levels.

You will work in and help lead a small and highly skilled team supporting this successful financial organisation in Windows Server and Active Directory, you will also be able to write IT procedures and controls, possess a high level of experience implementing and supporting virtualisation technology including HyperV (preferred) or VMWare etc. You should also be experienced in the delivery of small and medium sized IT projects from instigation through to testing and implementation.

These solutions include but not limited to Windows Server platforms, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Cloud Solutions, VMWare, routing, networking and desktop support. This requirement includes a high attention to detail, good organisational skills and ability to work as and lead a small team.

Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop and server 2003 - 2012)
Microsoft Exchange (building, installing, upgrading and migrating)
Office 365 (licensing, setup, migration)
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc.
Networking - WAN, LAN, Security, SSL, IP Routing, Switching
Anti-Virus platforms
