Product Analyst

Job Description

The overall purpose of this role is to help define and build the Zapp product set and it's Agile development. This forms part of a bigger product development programme of work leading to and capitalising upon a successful market launch of the Zapp technology in the UK and beyond.
We are looking for someone with passion, enthusiasm and high energy levels as well as communication that is able to take ownership of tasks and ensure completion to a high level of quality and rigour.
The role is instrumental in creating and maintaining the product definition and product roadmap, assessing customer needs, communicating to wider stakeholders and understanding the mobile payments competitive landscape.

Experience of having worked in a business analysis style role and/or product management / analysis
Experience of payments (one of: Cards, Corporate Payments, PoS, e-Commerce, Mobile, Billing / Invoicing, e/m-Wallets)
Awareness and experience of planning and executing against a plan
Understand document review processes and can demonstrable ability to write a document (including Visio)
Able to communicate well to all interested parties especially when there is an issue.
Create and manage logs to control activities of self, and of others
A good analytical thinker, both in terms of the subject matter and in executing efficient/effective analysis activities
Sound business analysis skills (systems analysis not essential) including, but not limited to, swim lane modelling, scope definition, requirements definition
Quick to recognise constraints / challenges of design in order to document and recommend business solutions that address constraints / challenges
