Group Reporting Manager

Job Description

We are recruiting for a fantastic Financial Payments client that have an urgent requirement for a Group Reporting Manager who is a Qualified Financial Accountant (ideally min 3 years PQE).

Main purpose of the role:

To manage the end-to-end process for the preparation of financial and management reporting for the Group. This includes the monthly financial reporting pack, Board reporting packs, Exec Flash Report, and corporate reporting to our shareholders
Assist Group Financial Planning & Reporting Manager with coordination of planning activities, preparation of quarterly forecasts, the annual budget and corporate plan.

Key accountabilities and duties;
Management Reporting
Manage the monthly reporting process, liaising with the Financial Control, Commercial Finance and Financial Systems teams as appropriate:
Production of monthly timetables and communicate with the wider finance team
Prepare the monthly Financial Reporting Pack, Flash Report and Board KPI packs for presentation to the Executive Management Team and the Board
Prepare the summary commentary and variance analysis for inclusion in the monthly management reports
Compile Group Reporting and manage key stakeholder relationships with Corporate reporting team
Actively improve the reporting process, always seeking out increased efficiencies and effectiveness in conveying the message to the business

Good technical accounting skills
Experience in a similar financial reporting role
Good Excel and data analysis skills
Good knowledge of planning & reporting systems (company uses Infor CPM and Hyperion)
Excellent presentation skills and a high level of attention to detail
Knowledge of Oracle
Ability to work to and meet / drive tight deadlines
