My client who are a global software organization are currently in need of a seasoned Senior Pre-Sales Engineer. The Pre-Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. The successful Sales Engineer can make engineering jargon like program specs and technical requirements easily understood, explain how complex products work, and demonstrate how my client can meet the prospect's / customer's needs & requirements.
The ideal Pre-Sales Engineer must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of SAAS and/or Project Management technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience as a Sales Engineer
- Experience and familiarity with project management tools would be nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- Familiarity with programming languages, API's and Enterprise Architectures
- Understanding of LDAP, AD, SAML and SSO
- Additional Languages a plus
