UX Design Lead

Job Description

My Client a global science and technology solutions leader. Require a UX Design Lead to join their team for an initial 6 months - based in Leeds city centre. This company specialise in defence, security and health markets, and deal with a range of top end clients such as Government and commercial.

The Role

This individual will be working with a national level healthcare organisation to support the development of critical tools which deliver government legislation. You will be part of an agile team that are using SCRUM delivery and co-location with the customer product owner. You will be part of the design and development, with one of the fastest growing healthcare practices in the UK, this will involve delivering success, while driving the business forward.

Experience Required:

This individual must be Agile/Lean - with a drive to commit to projects and assignments, from introduction right through to completion.
Comprehensive understanding of various software development methodologies, including agile;
Demonstrable expertise designing interactions professionally for the web and mobile;
Solid experience of web and mobile application interface design. Core skills: sketching, design production, hand-coded HTML & CSS, rapid prototyping;
Experience working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and ability to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team ;
Ability to work with due attention to schedule and cost constraints;
Adherence to process within a software development environment;
Experience working with collaboration and software lifecycle toolsets.
