IT Change Analyst

Job Description

IT Change Analyst - Harrogate - 6 month contract

Leading organisation in the Financial Services sector are currently recruiting for an experience IT Change Analyst to manage and execute the IT Change Management processes to enable beneficial changes to be made with minimum disruption to IT services.

Key accountabilities include:

Reporting to the IT Change Manager, the IT Change Analyst will manage all Changes to the IT Business Services Infrastructure with a view to minimising risk and eliminating disruption to business services arising from Change implementation

This will include supporting and developing the Change Management process ¿ ensuring Changes are raised. Manage relationships, enforcing adherence to the Change Management process with stakeholders, capturing evidence of process compliance for audit purposes, and assessing process
performance through analysis of KPI's

Ensure that changes are recorded, evaluated, approved, prioritised, scheduled, tested, implemented and reviewed in a consistent and controlled manner

Perform conflict management through to ensure changes are scheduled efficiently and effectively

Support the Change Advisory Boards (CAB) ensuring that supporting documentation is accurate, up to date and available

Background:

Strong experience of IT Change Management ideally gained in a complex enterprise environment. Good understanding of the IT infrastructure lifecycle, IT Service Management, and project management methodologies
ITIL-qualified, ideally in ITIL Service Transition
Proven experience in the use of an ITIL Compliant Service Management Tool, ideally HP Service Manager or Remedy
Financial Services sector experience is required.
