Customer Due Diligence Manager

Job Description

 leading and well respected financial services company in Birmingham are recruiting for a Customer Due Diligence Manager, The Customer Due Diligence Manager will be responsible for setting up a new Financial Crime operations function. There will be the opportunity for the successful client to recruit their own team.

Responsibilities

The Customer Due Diligence Manager will be responsible for conducting on boarding and ongoing bases.
Recommends areas for change and supports leadership in delivery of agreed change projects to achieve continuous improvement.

Provision of financial crime advice and support to the Financial Crime Migration Project Team during build, to ensure all financial crime risks are identified and legal and regulatory requirements are met.

Understand emerging internal and external threats and how they affect the Bank's business, liaising with stakeholders to ensure appropriate action is taken.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the risk model continues to meet the Banks financial crime risk appetite in order to keep the Bank safe and compliant

Management of CDD escalations and engagement with stakeholders through to resolution

Deliver and maintain team training programme
