PMO Manager

Job Description

PMO Manager, Project Management, Leading Fashion Retailer, London, Travel to Europe once a month.

PMO Manager needed for a leading fashion retailer in London. The IT PMO Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of IT projects, including providing project-specific support, as required. The projects will cover a full range of projects including enterprise transformational IT projects, mid-range project and a full deliver portfolio consisting of smaller projects per year. The role will have a critical leadership impact within the clients IT platform and will provide leadership, project management capabilities, and work experience to successfully deliver technology capabilities.

The PMO Manager will work with key IT and business leaders to support initiatives through implementation, including tracking progress, designing and monitoring key metrics, tracking performance against milestones, and providing change management guidance. The PMO Manager will provide leadership, development, and oversight to a team of internal and external Senior Project Managers that are assigned to IT portfolios by providing direction and guidance when portfolios or projects encounter issues.

- A proven track record of 10+ years of technical and leadership experience in a retail organization managing complex organisations, leading transformation projects
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing enterprise level and/or multi-departmental projects to completion.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with industry standard project management methodologies for IT development (SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Lean, PMBOK, ITIL, etc.)
